Meet Dr. Jonathan Sher

Dr. Jonathan D. Sher received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1989. He earned his Bachelor of Science in 1986 from the University of Houston and previously majored in Chemistry at the University of Texas at Arlington from 1982 to 1985.

Dr. Sher is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and the Dallas County Optometric Association. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

When he’s not treating patients, he enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing. Dr. Sher resides in Plano, Texas, with his wife, Cynthia, and their son, Benjamin.
